Migrating WordPress site without backup

[ad_1]

I have a WordPress site that I have limited access to, I am trying to migrate the website to another website host, but don’t have the ability to make a backup of the site.

I do have control over the DNS for the domain, so switching that over won’t be an issue.

What would be the best method to copy the site to another hosting company. There are over 100 pages on the site. The best method I can think of is manually configuring all the pages on the new hosting, and manually copy all the text/images, etc.

Is there a tool or better method I can use to complete this?

  1. First off, I would not attempt this without a backup.

At least see if the hoisting service provides one.

As for migration methods that don’t require uploading files, databases and such, a good method is MigrateGuru, it does everything on it’s own servers and it’s free. However, you’ll need sftp or ftp credentials.

  2. The All-in-One WP Migration plugin at is terrific for site migration from one host to another.
