Hi everyone,
I’m building a site for my company on WordPress. The theme (Monochrome Pro) is supposed to be mobile responsive, but it’s not acting that way. Initially I had the free theme, but have since upgraded to Genesis Pro.
I have:
– Installed Genesis framework (installed, not active, parent theme)
– Installed Monochrome Pro theme package (installed, active, child theme)
– Installed Genesis blocks pro and custom blocks
– Cleared cache
– Checked for custom css that could override the theme, but there is none
The theme is still showing wonky on mobile. By that, I mean that the page titles are all squashed narrow with two or three letters per line and CTA buttons are doing the same thing. Two-column blocks are pushed over to the far right of the page. I have a plug in for dropdown menus on the home page and that’s just showing as blank on mobile.
I spoke to a WordPress support tech who couldn’t figure it out. They escalated it to a senior tech who couldn’t figure it out either. They tried turning each of the plug ins off, which made things look worse. They also tried turning the theme off and using a different theme to see if it was a problem with Monochrome Pro, neither of which worked.
Can anyone help?

We can’t help without seeing the site, so please share your URL.
For issues relating to the theme (which includes navigation, responsive, etc), you should be reaching out to the theme developer.
