I understand the “new” block editor, and the widget overlay, it’s actually useful, but I constantly find it overlaying text I’m in the process of editing or referring to.
Like, I’ll create a header block with a title for a paragraph I’m writing, then i’ll hit enter, and the widget now overlays the title of the paragraph I’m editing (example screenshot . I find this really irritating.
Floating the toolbar to the right would be more useful – but covering up text you’re working on seems pretty yucky.
Is there a way to alter the location of that toolbar, or have it pop up only when i ask for it?
