More efficient way to write posts/articles?

Im looking for a more efficient way to write posts/articles. I don’t really like the default WordPress editor or Elementor.

The “ideal” way would be for me to draft an article up in Word/Google Docs (including pictures, hyperlinks, etc), and then export the whole thing as HTML (while preserving the formatting) into WordPress. Is there a way to do this? I’ve used some Word to WordPress plugins before but they were very buggy.

Open to hearing other more efficient ways people are writing posts/articles as well.
