My site gets spam comments occasionally but they don’t have phishing links or sale things. These spams are usually like “oh interesting article and I like it. “ sometimes in a short paragraph. Why ppl take the time to set up bots to do this?
Exploitation mostly. Some looking for vulnerabilities on sites where they can take over. Others are SEO reasons. DDoS attacks. Fun stuff for me and my agency, not so much for you.
