I have a WordPress website with some outdated posts. I want to move it somewhere else (subfolder, subdomain, another domain, etc.) or delete it so I can use the root domain for Shopify.
1. Create a new A record in your DNS for ‘blog’ and point it to your current site’s hosting IP address
2. Log into your WP site and change its domain name to “blog.[your-domain.com]” (Dashboard > Settings)
3. Install a plugin called Better Search and Replace, and use it to search/replace your URLs from the old to the new eg `//example.com` > `//blog.example.com`
