Hey!
I am a newbie to wordpress. I hava an old site running in domain x and it needed to be updated so I created another site which might have been a bad move. Now that I have created the new site I would need to replace the old site with the contents of the new site including headers footers etc. What would be the best and easiest way to tackle this problem? I guess if I had done this right I would have just made the new pages as drafts and updated the old sites footer and header but here we are.. The image might give a more clear picture of the problem.

Did the old website use a custom domain name (eg it was made at site1.wordpress.com but you had site.net pointed to it)? Then you’ll need to go to wherever you registered this domain name site.net, remove pointing to site1.wordpress.com and set it to point to site2.wordpress.com instead.
