Multilanguage issue

Hello everyone, i am new to WordPress and id Need some help.
I am building a website for an International school in Italy.
This website has some italian and some english news, not translated so they dont match. The point is that when I load, for example, an italian news – the Path Is website.eu/it/newsname – i also get the same news in the english section – website.eu/newsname – so my contents are duplicated.
How can i fix this?
