\^Posted\^ on /r/woocommerce as well, but I thought it may be better here if this is more of a general question about product categories in WordPress.
I started a WooCommerce page recently, but I am having trouble finding out if I can map out my products this way with free WooCommerce + a free shop theme.
The shop page would have a side navigation with a search bar and a few product category filters.
1. Complete Reports (this is a product type)
1. Search by Industry
1. \*Dropdown List\*
2. Search by Company
1. \*Dropdown List\*
2. Quick Reports (this is a product type)
1. Search by Industry
1. \*Dropdown List\*
2. Search by Company
1. \*Dropdown List\*
3. Industry Reports (this is a product type)
1. \*List\*
As you can see I have three product types (Full, Quick, and Industry), and I would like to list them independently. Currently, when I make product categories and subcategories I see them showing up in both product filter menus.
Would this be solved by using multiple shop pages for different report types? I have read here ([https://www.websitebuilderinsider.com/can-you-have-multiple-shop-pages-in-woocommerce/]) that that may slow down my site and mess with SEO.
I would prefer to have just one product page anyhow but is this possible with a free WP e-commerce theme? Is it possible with WooCommerce without a lot of coding?
I’m willing to buy a theme and/or plugin that would allow me to customize product categories more, but I’m still unsure as to which one to get (if there is one that solves this).

Edit: Would custom taxonomies help here?
