I’m starting to get more clients and while trying to build up my portfolio I’ve started doing some free pages for people, to get more practice and experience to show. Many times I find myself looking to make a site before they have hosting/domains set up, or wanting to work on a site just for practice and then pass it to them if they want to continue with it.
For these cases, is multisite something that would be useful, and then using a transfer or backup plugin to switch the site over to dedicated hosting and a domain after, if they decide to go through with it?
I’m enjoying doing these types of pages, but don’t want to need new hosting every time. I’ve done subhosting, but I couldn’t figure out how to set up a completely different site without getting a new domain every time.
Any thoughts on multisite for this or any way for me to accomplish the same thing with a different solution?
