My base page that you go to when you go to my base url has changed??

how do i set one of my pages as my homepage? i.e. the base page that you go to when you go to my url? somehow i have changed it, and i cant figure why not i have the google description as my main page for my url? andnow my home page is a url with home at the end???

  1. In the admin go to appearance and click customize from there you will find to setup a page as homepage
