Even though I am employed in an admin/receptionist role, my place of work know I have history in graphic/web design and UX and because of this, they are asking me to design an updated website. Although I love designing and building websites, it's only ever been on Squarespace (occasionally WebFlow), and their website is through WordPress.
Because of this, I have no idea where to start. Everything I google just leaves me more confused! What is Elementor, do I need to use it? Will it be hard to design a 6 page website from scratch? How do you design a website from scratch? If a theme is purchased (which they're open to), do I need to purchase a theme for every page on the website? I'm comfortable with HTML/CSS/JS and don't plan on doing anything too insane.
Are there any amazing (and super clear) resources on what I should be doing?
