My header with menu disappeared and has been replaced with Site Identity

[ad_1]

The Site Editor shows the header as I designed it (i.e. my name, logo and menu options). But this is not visible at the top of my site any more.

Instead there is a banner with my site title and tagline – in Arial font, no logo, and I do not recognize the background colour. (If it's relevant I am using the theme Twenty Twenty-Four.)

How do I get rid of this unwelcome banner and get my menu back?

  1. Hi,

First, check your header settings. Ypu can go to Appearance > Customize in your WordPress dashboard and look for the Header section. Make sure your custom header is turned on and the menu is set up correctly.

Also, check under Site Identity to see if there are any settings that might override your custom header. Next, make sure the correct menu is assigned by going to Menus in the Customizer. If it’s not assigned, select the right menu and save your changes.

If that doesn’t work, try disabling any recent plugins to see if they’re causing the issue.

I hope this works for you

    thanks
