I paid for the personal plan, managed hosting on WordPress.com. I built up a little bit of a website. I did some work, ran a 1-hr errand and came back to it. But when I tried to edit my site, I had been logged out. Trying to log in gave me this message:
This account has been closed. If you believe your account was closed in error, please contact us.
I was taken aback, of course. I rushed to fill out the account recovery form here:
I have a transaction ID and everything. But when I filled out the form, it gave me this message:
If you can receive emails at the email address you have provided, you should be able to recover your account by filling out the lost password form with that email address. Please check your spam folder for the reset email.
If you can’t receive emails at this email address, please use a different contact email and submit this form so we can contact you.
I am sad to have paid $48 to lose my account and not have access to my chosen domain. I tried to reuse the email to make a new account, and that’s what I’m on. Is there any way for me to recover my account?
