I have a fan sport site on WordPress and need to embed a shortcode displaying the last match results and fixtures for my favorite team. I checked some websites that offer free widgets like footystats and scoreaxis but they have very limited options. Are there any other similar websites that offer embeded codes for the last match results and fixtures for any team?. And how can I create my own if I can’t find good alternatives?. I am not a programmer so I do not know much about this area

ESPN has an api, so do a couple others. Certainly could pull from an api and output in a widget via a custom function.
