Hello everyone, I’m stuck in a very annoying situation that I was wondering if anyone can help me out in. So my friends dad was opening a local used car dealership and he wanted a website built, so my friend had asked me to find anyone who can create it so I started looking on fivver. He wasn’t looking for anything extraordinary so I tried to find a not to expensive option and after finding what I had thought was a good choice I had the person start the work. This person had told me that they can do everything on WordPress and it will only take 21 days. It ended up taking the person a few months with a lot of guidance from me and me sending example websites for them to copy to get a grasp of what was needed. Now I’m not familiar with building websites or coding so I don’t know if the work was really that hard that it needed this much time and what not but that is not what I really cared about. The issue is that the page where it shows the car inventory is not done properly and the person told me that this is all he can do and is not helping with the site anymore. When ever a person selects the filter like they want a car that is 2018 or like they filter by price to show cars under that price the website doesn’t show the cars that fit that filter instead it just goes to a random page that says there has been a critical error on the website. This is essentially the most important part of the website and it doesn’t work. I had paid the person $400 usd and my friends dad was relying on me and I don’t want to disappoint. If anyone can please help me out I would appreciate it a lot and then If interested I can have my friends dad pay you monthly for up keeping the website with simple things like just adding or removing cars.
