I’m a blogger who uses WordPress for my website, and I’ve run into a bit of a challenge that I’m hoping some of you can help me with.
I currently have a WordPress website with around 500 pages of blog content, and I’ve integrated nearly 300 affiliate links into my posts. To make these affiliate links more user-friendly and trackable, I’ve been using a redirection plugin to mask the affiliate URLs.
Now, here’s the problem: I want to add a sub-ID or some other parameter automatically to my affiliate links so that I can track the data more effectively. Specifically, I’d like my website’s slug to be appended after the “subid2=” parameter in the affiliate link.
For example, if I’m internally linking to the affiliate link “xyz.com/aff-subid2=”, I’d like WordPress to automatically add my website’s slug after “subid2=” to make it something like “xyz.com/aff-subid2=myslug.”
I’ve been searching for a solution to achieve this automatically, but I haven’t been able to find the right approach or plugin. Does anyone have any suggestions or guidance on how to accomplish this? Your expertise and insights would be greatly appreciated!
