I’m feeling overwhelmed, and so far, the plugins I’ve tried aren’t what I actually want, so I’m hoping someone can help point me in the right direction. We are looking to add a member’s only section to our website (non-profit horse rescue) where people can sign up to get email updates and/or text/SMS messages of news. For example, we might want to share about available foster horses or another type of volunteer activity. We have different types of volunteers (some handle horses, some do not) so we’d like members to be able to signup for the types of updates that they want. We already have a member management database but we are open to change, if there’s a platform that makes better sense for what we want.
