Hello everyone,
I’m a freelancer on Upwork, and I recently had a client who asked me to create a WordPress site using Figma. I completed the project quite some time ago, but after I finished, the client stopped responding. Making matters worse, he returned with a completely new Figma file containing extensive changes from the original and demanded revisions. He even blamed me for previous issues and threatened to open a dispute. Concerned about my career on Upwork and wanting to avoid a bad rating or affecting my job success score, I made all the changes he requested without any objections.
However, when I again asked for payment, he became unresponsive. A few days later (today), he suddenly requested for refund, claiming the website wasn’t working. Upon checking today, I discovered the website was not opening and showed a 404 error. Initially, I built the site on a subdomain through Hostinger because he did not want me working on the live site, although he had previously given me access to it. At that time, I started working directly on the live site, setting it to ‘coming soon’ mode, but he later took all backups, and I lost all my work, which I had to redo.
As for the error, it’s detailed in the screenshot below. I’m really worried. I can’t even see the subdomain on Hostinger, and it seems like the files might be missing. I suspect he intentionally deleted them and does not intend to pay. The website URL is: [https://stagingaptous.aptous.com](https://stagingaptous.aptous.com/)[/](https://stagingaptous.aptous.com/)
