Long story short, I have been tasked to redesign a webstore built in a wordpress.com site with WooCommerce. The site has been built with the Storefront theme, and with the eCommerce subscription it allows external plugins and themes. I have 6 months of experience with self-hosted wordpress sites and my plan was to create a staging site and redesign it with Elementor Pro and then migrate it to the live site.
However, I dont have previous experience working with WordPress.com -hosted sites and apparently they do not allow staging sites.
Can anyone help me on how to move forward with this? I am willing to pay a consultation fee for a legitimate, 1-on-1 call with an expert if that is deemed necessary.
Is my only option to redesign the live site? Or should I just get a theme from themeforest or something?
