So I need to redesign a clients website at the moment. I’ve created a dummy version with a new theme on a separate site. But now what I need to do is to create this new homepage on the clients website. I need to get the homepage that is automatically created by the theme (it’s a version of Astra) and be able to edit and change it while the old homepage is still live.
Essentially, need to create a new homepage with a new theme in the background while the current public homepage is still active and being used by customers.
I know there is a multiple themes plug in but I’m not sure how to get the new themes homepage without overwriting the current one publicly.
