Hi guys, I have a bit of an issue with this site I'm working on. Firstly, I am by no means an expert, I've created a few simple wordpress websites using elementor and that's about it.
Recently I've been asked by a friend to update some things on their business website someone made for them before 2020. Now I've managed to do most of it, however since I've used elementor so far, Gutenberg and the basic editor which the other person used is unfamiliar to me and I can't complete some things (not sure if it's because of this).
My trouble is here – the site uses polylang to translate to english, and everything is fine, however there's no way for me to change the tagline that's created through the materialis theme editor. I just have to translate site tagline and a "more" button (located over a background image at the top of the page) , but whenever I do that for one homepage it messes up the other and changes there as well (both end up being either English or the other).
I've tried searching for solutions, couldn't find them. There are two homepages (one for english and one for the other language) and everything else on them is translated with no issue, but the tagline changes across both, can't keep separate. I don't know if it's the theme (materialis) and how to resolve this.
If anyone has any idea I'd appreciate it. I'm really a beginner and wanted to do a favor and help out, can't seem to translate the most important part.
