My earlier post wasn’t approved by admins for some reason. I guess it was because it contained a link.
Anyway, I just wish to know if there is a social share and follow button plugin that’d help me check how people are sharing my posts. I am using Sassy Share but that doesn’t show Analytics. I checked some others, but they were broken – like AddThis, and Shareaholic.
ShareThis looks cool but requires adding code to the head section of my website. If I decide to go with ShareThis, do I have to create a child theme and then add the code? It seems too technical.
I wonder what else is there, as a plugin! Sassy Share is beautiful and does the job. The only issue is that it won’t display stats. I am using bitly links, but they are not a complete solution because I have automatic sharing of old posts that too use bitly. I have two questions:
1. Where do I get a plugin that shows stats for sharing on social media?
2. If I decide to insert ShareThis code or use my own code, what is the ideal way to do it?
