I have a website hosted on SiteGround that has been running over 5,000 CPU seconds – I have no idea how to fix it (not very tech/web savvy) – the things I have tried per SiteGround’s help articles have had no effect. I just got the WordFence plugin hoping to block bots that may be causing the problem, and NOW my site is running 16,000 CPU seconds! My web developer told me they could ‘try to figure it out’ at $100 per hour….but I am sure it is a simple one-click-fix that I just can not figure out and he is going to charge me hundreds to do. I would be so thankful for any help or insight!
