  1. You’re right, it sucks. I use the nofollow attribute regularly and I wasn’t happy to see this change.

  2. They have added more options in the UI. Personally, don’t think it’s bad at all. Basic is adding a link, a title. Advanced is adding parameters available. It’s meant to be a streamlined process as a lot of people may not need to use no-follow, etc. out the gate.

    Did you review the updates to 6.3? If not, I can see your frustration. There a shit load of UI/UX changes to the admin and editor.

    I’ll gladly take any of these obfuscations in trade for the sheer performance boost they’ve given both the admin and frontend. I can learn new ways of doing things.
