I created a WordPress account with my email a month ago but haven’t had my site go live yet. I barely started it to be honest. I have emails from WordPress confirming the account was created, log in here emails, tips and tricks for blogging, etc, so it was definitely created.
I went to log in and it wants me to log in with a link sent to my email. No email is coming despite multiple requests. The email address is correct. Any attempt to log in generates a ‘click the link in the email’ page response.
I’ve tried to lodge a recovery ticket but it’s saying the blog / blog name / username doesn’t exist and it won’t let me lodge the ticket as a result. When I try to create a new account, it says the email address is already in use.
I can’t see another method of contacting WordPress to help resolve this? Any suggestions regarding contacting them? I want to keep this email and username.

Do yourself a favour and use a regular hosting and install wordpress from [wordpress.org](http://wordpress.org)
then you own your site. Forget .com solution, its not worth it
