New Freelancer, Question!

[ad_1]

I have a potential client who has 2 sites being managed by a video production company.

The sites are WordPress built with Elementor and/or GoDaddy Blocks.

I believe they are currently hosted through GoDaddy.

The client would like to transfer management and maintenance tasks to a new provider (hopefully me).

QUESTION: How should I go about transferring ownership and all other capabilities from the current agency to mine? Any help or advice is appreciated.

  1. For the WordPress end, you might want to request admin-level access for the wp-admin back end of the sites.

For the hosting, if you are looking to host the sites somewhere else, many companies offer multiple-user access. For instance, Pressable offers a collaborator feature. So, one user (you or your client) can create the account and pay for it, while the other can join as a collaborator with any given set of permissions.

This is true for a few companies out there.

    I hope this helps!
