Hi all,
I’m running into a problem where all new images I’m uploading are showing as grey boxes in the image library and are unable to be uploaded to my post. I’ve attached an image of what it looks like in the media library. My live site looks fine.
I don’t know why this is happening since I havent updated or added anything new in the last few months. Another important piece of context is that I’ve taken a bit of a break from updating my site- probably about a month – and when I returned to work on it, I get this issue.
What I’ve already tried:
\- I’m on firefox but I’ve tried opening it in safari
\- updating all plugins/themes
\- clearing cache.
I’ve searched this issue and someone said that it had to do with a “301 redirect caused by the SSL certificate”. I’m not sure what that means, let alone how to act on those directions.

Can you show us a screenshot of what it says on the right sidebar?
The grey boxes issue might be due to SSL certificate misconfiguration or incorrect image URLs. Check your SSL certificate, inspect image URLs for HTTPS, review .htaccess for redirect rules.
