New page doesn’t display what’s saved in the editor

[ad_1]

I’m really confused at the moment. I’ve created my front page for a word press website and now I’m creating additional pages. I go into the editor and add blocks etc and click save but what is actually displayed on that live page is none of what I’ve saved in the editor, all it shows what’s been saved in the default template for any page which is the header and footer.

I’m quite confused, would anybody mind helping?

  1. What’s likely happening is that the older version of a page is cached, and that is what you are seeing. There are several layers of cache, but usually two actions can help. First, look to see if there is a “clear cache” button somewhere in your WP dashboard. There may also be a clear cache(s) option on your hosting dashboard. The second action that can help is a hard refresh of the page in your browser. On a Mac it is command+shift+r.
