Thanks for installing the latest update!

The ‘Review Permissions’ setting applies to on-site review forms created with CusRev visual style or via shortcodes. It doesn’t apply to review forms with basic WooCommerce style. Permissions for the basic WooCommerce review forms can be controlled via settings in WooCommerce and general ‘Discussion Settings’ in WordPress.

Here are possible options for ‘Review Permissions’:

  1. Nobody can submit reviews
It is not possible to submit reviews for anyone.
  2. Reviewers must be registered and logged in
It is possible to submit a review only when a user has an account on a website and is logged into their account.
  3. Reviewers must be verified owners
It is possible to submit reviews with or without an account on a website but a user needs to have a previous order which includes a product they want to review. This check is done by a product ID and a customer email.
  4. Anyone can submit reviews
Anyone can submit reviews. It is recommended to enable Google reCAPTCHA setting at the same time to prevent SPAM.
