Hi, please let me know if this is the wrong sub to post this in and as I looked for many and found this to be the most relevant one.
I’m completely new to WP and website making. I want to make a website for my private practice as a therapist. Based on my limited research, I’ve gathered that WP is better than others because it allows more customisation (correct me if I’m wrong and if I should choose something else).
I’m having issues with other things :
1. Host : I’m confused between hostinger and hostgator, since I’m following YouTube tutorials and guides, I don’t understand which one to go ahead with and which one would be best for me, feasible and reliable.
2. I just need a domain, SSL and enough space to put basic content and media on the website for my patients or prospective clients to come through. Also, I want to start with the 12 months package.
3. SEO : I don’t fully understand SEO but I am getting there, as much as I could understand, SEO is important and it will allow me to get more traffic for my website?
4. Cheaper options : I’m on limited funds, hence rather than outsourcing this and going to any external agency, I thought I’d make it all up on my own. So financially feasible options would be helpful.
5. I really want my website to have this premium look, marketing and traffic as a popular website. I’m willing to do all the work and I’m willing to grow my knowledge in this.
I aim to have a clientele in my entire country, I also plan to constantly use AI to put more content on my wesbire so I could get traffic using digital marketing.
If there any tutorial or PDF guide to WordPress which is fresh and updated or anything which would make it easier for me to reach my goals, I would appreciate it.
