Hello, this is my first post here.
At the moment I am trying to help editing a website that was made in WordPress (I assume since there are many files that start with “wp_…” and the folder structure matches). The thing is I have used Filezilla to download all the website files and now I want to edit them, can I edit them in the WordPress site? I ve seen that you can do it in VS code but the file structure is weird and so I can’t find where the website content files are, and how can I view the changes that I make without having to upload all the page.
I m sorry if those are not the right questions, but this is my first time working with WordPress. Any help is welcome.
Website content is stored in the database.
Make a backup of the file and setup a local environment using Local from localwp.com.
You might to do a bit more googling about WordPress before jumping in – lots of good tutorials on pretty much much any topic on YouTube.
