Hi all,
I’m a WordPress newbie but an Angular developer at work. I’ve been tasked with helping clean up a friend’s business’ website and have a couple questions I wasn’t able to find answers to easily.
1. The homepage in written directly in the theme’s index.php file and not as a separate page in the editor. Maybe that’s standard practice? I need to make a few changes to it and I’m wondering if it’s possible to preview the changes before publishing? It doesn’t appear so in the dashboard, but I might just be missing the obvious.
2. Is it possible in the Gutenberg editor to create a list of posts filtered by **type**? I can only see a **category** entry in the block editor.
3. Can I then use reusable blocks to display that list of posts? It doesn’t look like there’s any way to do that (in Gutenberg anyways). For context I’d created a simple two column block with text and a button on one side and an image on the other.
These are likely obvious questions but I am stuck at this point. Thanks in advance.
