I’m trying to help my Dad (80) sort some stuff out.
He’s had a blog on WordPress for about a decade. About 8 years ago he self-published a book and sold it through his website using Shopify with a Buy Now button.
He is about to publish a new book and wants the same set up. Should be pretty easy right?
I’m really struggling. I’m actually a user interface/UX designer for a large digital bank and its got me stumped.
I can create the button in Shopify (its actually a page right, its got a preview of the product, description, price and then an Add to cart button). I copy the code, go into the WordPress site, create a new page, add a custom HTML block, paste the code (give the page a h1) and it previews as expected. Then I publish the page and all I get is the h1 and /\*\*/.
What am I missing here? Please help me!
