I’m sorry if this is a newbie question but I’ve searched and can’t find a solution.
I’m creating a WordPress website using Gutenberg and the Kadence theme. I want to add a custom Javascript asset: a jQuery lightslider. This one for example:
I tried with various plug-ins: “Simple Custom CSS and JS” and “WPCode” but I couldn’t get it to work.
What I want is simple: I want to use this custom slider on a specific page, at a specific spot.
Where exactly should I put the JS code? How do I call it in WordPress? Should I create a child theme and put everything in the assets folder? What’s the way to go about this?
