Not getting enough traffic to my website hosted on WordPress

[ad_1]

Hello folks

Hi everyone,

I run a website, sciencetechaihub.com on WordPress, and while I believe the content is of good quality, I’m struggling to generate enough traffic and subscribers. I’m using Yoast SEO to optimize keywords and ensure proper on-page SEO, and I’ve also connected the site to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools.

I’m unsure if the issue lies with my content quality, SEO strategy, or something else entirely. I’d greatly appreciate any insights or advice on how I can improve traffic and engagement. Thanks in advance!

  1. Unfortunately, you can’t just create a site, install an SEO plugin, and expect traffic. Not in 2024. There is too much competition, and the search algorithms have changed drastically in the last year. AI has further complicated that. In particular they have hit sites like yours very hard. There are millions of sites like it which all have “good quality” content.

I’m not saying you can’t do it – but you’ll need to invest significant effort. I’d recommend checking the SEO sub as well, they’ll have good advice. Couple of high-level notes on your site. First, it was just registered in June. It’s brand new. SEO is a marathon, not a sprint. Second, you need to focus on high-quality backlinks. Your backlink profile is not great. You have >5.5K backlinks but from only 9 IPs. That looks like link manipulation. Work on getting diverse, high-quality backlinks from relevant sites.

  2. Man, getting traffic is a tough nut to crack, but it sounds like you’re on the right track by using Yoast and Google Search Console. Have you tried leveraging social platforms or forums like Reddit to drive some organic traffic to your site? I found doing a few strategic posts in relevant Reddit communities and Facebook groups can really boost visibility. Pulse Reddit monitoring helped me keep track of related discussions and trends, kinda like Semrush does for broader marketing insights. These helped refine my content strategy and engagement tactics, so it might just give you the edge you’re looking for.
