I run my company’s website through WordPress and had been installing the version update as it showed up on my dashboard. A few weeks ago I got a notification from one of my plugins that I need to update to Version 5.6 or newer for it to use. After looking into it a little it appears I am several YEARS behind on my version which currently is at 5.5.1!
My dashboard keeps showing that I have the latest version and it was last checked today. So why am I so far behind and why isn’t it auto-finding the latest update? Do I need to install a plugin or something?
Also, what’s the best method for manually updating to the current version which looks like 6.3?
