Good news! Pods is not impacted.
From our Slack just a few moment ago:
It’s come to our attention that Pods has been flagged from WPScan and possibly other sites for a vulnerability that Freemius SDK has. We removed Freemius SDK in October 2021 with the release of Pods 2.8 so you can rest assured that we are in fact not directly impacted by that. WPScan lists Pods as “No known fix” but there’s a false positive somewhere there and we are working with them to get that corrected.
Regardless, we do have a planned Pods 2.7.31.1 security release that will remove Freemius SDK from Pods 2.7.x as well for those who do not want to update to 2.8/2.9 yet.
