One Site, but Asgaros forum on different subdomain without multisite

Hi everyone,

Do you know if and how I could run my forum on a subdomain, without activating multisite?

At the moment the url is https://mydomain.com/forum

but I want it to be under https://forum.mydomain.com

I figured that one could achieve that by activating multisite, but just looking at it and through research, I figured it's a hassle to work with and not recommended.
