I am the admin on [https://defensiefotografie.nl]). All posts and pages are fast loading. Only the homepage is slow. Very slow.
I am using a commercial hosting company, Hummingbird as caching plugin, Colormag is the theme. Cloudflare is used. While addressing the homepage, Cloudflare often gives a 504 time out for the host (or on offline warning).
**What is wrong with the homepage that makes it so slow? Any suggestions? Thank you.**
I even removed components as the slider from the homepage. It does not make it faster.
When I try Pagespeed Insights I still get an 82% desktop score. FCP and LCP are only a few tens of a second longer. I could stop Cloudflare but that would be a final escape, is not (I presume) the root of the problem. Should I use another theme?
