I'm managing a website that is using Events Calendar Pro, although only a few features. Currently they use:
- Map/List View
- Events (non recurring)
- Venues
- Event Categories
The plugin however, adds 357 rewrite rules to the wp_options table, which has caused it to grow in size to where with other plugins/custom post types in the mix, we're no longer able to use object caching cause of the preloaded data size.
Has anybody written functions to remove specific endpoints that wouldn't be used anyways (not actively linked to from anywhere, etc)?
They have a filter for it, but the docs don't explain how to remove them really well.
