Options for Gutenberg Block Enhancements

[ad_1]

Recently, I’ve had my first experience with Elementor, which led me to look into Oxygen based-on some of this sub’s members. Neither of them is really appealing to me because they appear to be oriented towards replacing the core Gutenberg block editor, and I’m not interested in something building the entire site via the content editor. I’d prefer something that enhanced Gutenberg by adding more blocks and possibly more controls over existing blocks.

I spent some time the other day looking into the [Essential Blocks]) and [Spectra WordPress Gutenberg Blocks]) plugins. I see some potential in them, but before putting in any serious work, I was wondering if you all had any other suggestions for something that enhances Gutenberg (i.e. inserts additional blocks into the block/pattern library), rather than replaces it.

  1. I like Kadence. It’s really a theme with a lot of custom blocks with many options. Fast, too. The free version is very capable.
