Hey,
I’m at a loss for figuring out a solution for my specific use case.
eCommerce specific.
80+ distributors each responsible for their own respective countries all with different currency and many with different language.
Need to have a brand consistent design across all so am thinking something like a multisite or multi tenant site.
Basically end result is wanting to have each region with its own sub domain or subdirectory, but as each distributor is responsible for their region, they need to have their own payment gateway and way of managing, monitoring and fulfilling the needs of their region via wordpress/WooCommerce.
I’ve got a current site that has been created on WordPress/WooCommerce and is suitable for all regions to use but don’t know the next step.
I’ve looked into multisite but that seems to pose resource, backup, security limitations. Some research has suggested the use of WPML or Polylang, but I still need each subdirectory to be managed by the respective region and don’t want user data shared across all directories.
TLDR: What’s beat practice for inplementing one website for multiple distributors globally that each distributor can manage aspects of? Eg, some light customisation, ability to choose which products/prices and info to share with their region and sales directly into their dominated payment gateway. Ability to avoid security issues of the entire ecosystem if one is affected is a big bonus.
Thankyou for any guidance!
