The plugin is this: – The wordpress cron is currently deactivated and the cron job is running on the server level, isn’t this the recommendation for performance, especially for us since we run a medium sized woocommerce store? What should we do? Find a new plugin or disable the cron on the server and re-enable the cron on wordpress?

WP-Cron and cronjobs are two different things. They can both be enabled together.
I run a mid sized mu network (18m page served per month).
We use cavalcade ) as a substitute of wp cron
