Overwrite a SiteGround staging website with latest live version?

[ad_1]

I did some work on a client's website in a staging environment and ultimately pushed the changes live to production. The live website has changed since then and now I need to do some more work. I could just create another staging site, but is there an easy way to reuse the staging website I already created?

The DNS is not managed at SG, so requesting stagingX.example.com is a pain. If I manually copy the files and database I assume I'll need to run a manual search-replace for the URL changes, plus whatever else magic SG does in the background.

Any suggestions?
