Page permalink slug keeps automatically appending itself with a number and I don’t know why.

I’m trying to create a page on on of my sites named “2022”. This should be the only page on the site with that name so, by default, the permalink that should be generated is:

* [domain.com/2022])

However, whenever I create or attempt to rename the page, it keeps coming up as:

* [domain.com/2022-2])

There’s only seven pages on the site and no posts. There’s nothing else going by that name or link.

Any thoughts?
