I am new to WordPress and I cannot figure out how to edit pages. I follow the steps online but when I click edit I get a title and paragraph box and no way to customise the site? I made my homepage on the main page or whatever it is called and I have a page navigator which lets me go to the second page but I can’t customise this page at all, please can someone help me, am I doing something wrong? Why can’t I just edit my pages???

That is how WP works, you only manage the content there. For changing the design you will have to change themes or use a builder plugin like Elementor
