I would greatly appreciate his help with this serious problem.
I decided to add a new function in the functions.php file in the child theme (astra-child). The function was to add a checkbox on the user registration page.
It didn’t work and when I enter the “My Account” page, this screen now appears with the following text:
“Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘noopener’ (T_STRING), expecting ‘;’ or ‘,’ in /home/customer/www/kbsashop.com/public_html/wp-content/themes/astra-child/functions.php on line 28“
So I decided to remove the code entirely. The problem is that this error persists and I can’t find a way to fix it.
As you can see in the screenshot below, there is no longer a line 28 in the functions.php file but the error is still showing a problem in line 28.
