Hello, looking for some assistance. My elderly father is in the hospital, he is an avid blogger but his memory is slipping. He has lost all his passwords, the email he used to register with WordPress is defunct so we are reaching out to the reddit community as we can’t get any help through wordpress. Any ideas how to reset his account to use his new email?

Look in his browser history and saved passwords
Do you have access to the database through php-myadmin or some sort of control panel?
If you have access to the database, go to users table and change the email manually.
If you have access to the database you can look at the users table and edit the email associated with the account.
Do you know of his blog is self hosted or of it is through WordPress.com?
