I’ve been building sites in WordPress for around 5 years, but all my work has come from 1 agency and I need to set up something on the side if this was to dry up. I’m thinking of setting up a simple website advertising pay monthly WP sites & marketing.
A basic version called “Web Presence” – Elementor Pro with Hello Theme, up to 5 pages, WPRocket, Wordfence and onpage SEO with Rankmath for the 5 pages, 2 hours of updates per month – something like £60 per month. Minimum sign up 12 months.
A premium version called “Business Growth” – All of the above, but up to 10 pages + 2x keyword researched blog articles per month and backlinks campaign. – maybe around £180 per month
Both options include Hosting & Maintenance. \[Siteground and ManageWP for maintenance\]
Also Ill add a number of optional extras that can be added to the membership:
\- Branding, Merchandise/Clothing, Facebook Ad campaigns, Social Media management.
My target would be local businesses on Facebook. Ill first create a landing page and then a Facebook page, and then direct message the local businesses with a friendly, personalised message. I know its a numbers game, but maybe one could expect to land 1 client in 50 or something.
Firstly, do you think this is a good idea? Secondly, any advice on the packages in terms of the offering and the pricing?
